Managed hosting service provider Rackspace proclaimed that it has appended an enterprise-class Intrusion Detection System ‘Invision Security Appliance,’ which unites multi-layer threat management technology and supervising with the company’s dedicated endorsement to detect network problems automatically.

Rackspace enlarges its security potential with the commencement of Invision IDS, increasing the hosting authority’s fully-integrated set of administered safety services and products.

Invision’s ActiveWatch Monitoring ServiceSM provides SANS-certified network security to observe action and carry out prevalent fortification and security appraisal to notice network threats like worms, Trojans, BotNets and unauthorized intruders immediately.

Invision also leverages thousands of threat signatures to automatically block network attacks with an enhanced scanning capability that monitors incoming traffic for signatures that are only a threat to each respective environment, reducing the false positive rate, explains the company.
