Google has enhanced the new custom targeting channels for the AdSense publishers. With the new option, the AdSense users will be allowed labeling different ad units on their site, and the AdWords advertisers will be allowed to see the units and select them for their advertisements. It’s very tough to keep track of ads or types of ads you're running in your campaigns in your Google Adwords account. So, the Report Center team has recently come up with a new feature called the Ad Preview column. Ad Preview column reports and shows your text, image, video, mobile, or local business ad alongside the ad’s performance statistics. It is viewable in the HTML version of Ad Performance reports.

Amazon | Clickriver | Pay Per Click
Amazon.com has launches its own sponsored search product. Amazon’s beta launch of Clickriver Ads will offer pay-per-click advertising. It will use the Google’s model of “bid & performance,” soon Yahoo will also follow this model. A9.com unit of Amazon powers the technology, ads will still appear alongside other 3rd party sponsored ads. You can advertise services and products with the Clickriver Ads. The products should complement the selection on Amazon.com through sponsored links displaying on result pages of search and detail pages of product. During the shopping experience, you can engage the online shoppers with the advertising program.

During a Google press briefing in Dublin last week, Google assailed the firms that claim click fraud could be as high as 20 percent. The product manager for trust and safety at Google said that some firms seem to make the problem larger than it is, and the claims are exaggerated. Google claims that the click fraud at the Google site is on average is in the single digits. |
