Ubersmith, Inc., provider of integrated applications has revealed Ubersmith Datacenter Edition Preview Release 1 on Wednesday.

Ubersmith Release 1 is a software system that mechanizes and rationalizes datacenter functioning for service providers.

The company said that its new release is specifically designed for organizations that are responsible for managing more than 50 servers.

The product is based upon the Ubersmith automation framework. Ubersmith will be implementing the preview release for its DE Launch Partners and for the first public release on December 22, 2006. The main contributors comprise Voxel dot Net, Steadfast Networks and Colo4Dallas.

Hosting services provider, HostNine has signed a partnership deal with ModernGigabyte, under the new ModernBill Reseller Program.

As per the agreement, HostNine will resell ModernBill prepackaged in their four Reseller hosting plans comprising Entry, Midlevel, Next Step and Top. All these four services consist of a ModernBill license.

HostNine technicians and engineers will offer support services to maintain a ‘first-point’ communication with their clients. ModernBill License will be able to focus on establishing and heightening its characteristics, while HostNine will offer installation, upgrades and configuration services directly to the end-user.

Web hosting services provider, iWeb Group Inc makes announcement about completion of its new data center.

The company began the first expansion phase in February with the attainment of their new building, raised floor, air conditioning system, routers, dark fiber and other data center equipments.

The company articulates that numerous servers are in process in the novel infrastructures situated in Saint-Leonard’s industrial park on the Montreal Island.

iWeb would start its second effort to swell the new datacenter capacity. The new segment will raise the data center’s ability to at least 4000 dedicated servers and supply power to fill up 135 colocation racks.

A colocation and managed service provider, ColoServe annunciated that it has raised its infrastructure by elevating its capacity to CAT6 cabling.

The company said that the up gradation is part of a major capital project to bestow a novel main distribution frame (MDF), rewiring ColoServe’s entire San Francisco data center.

This up gradation allows ColoServe’s San Francisco colocation users to make direct connection with the dedicated servers by ServePath, its parent company, and request up to 10 gigabytes per second (Gbps) Internet connectivity without having to buy or install specialized equipment.
