DemoWolf, maker of flash tutorials for the web hosting industry has signed a partnership deal with ResellerZoom, which is an admired Texas-based hosting company, to provide free CPanel flash support tutorials to ResellerZoom clients.

According to the company, all ResellerZoom customers could access free CPanel flash support tutorials that will be customized with their company’s symbol to assimilate into their hosting business websites.

Internet Service Provider and eCommerce Solutions company, Destra Corporation Limited makes announcement that BlueFreeway Ltd has acquired its web hosting division ‘Destra Hosting’ for an expected $20 million.

Destra Corporation Limited will get $18 million in cash and the remaining $2 million in BlueFreeway shares including a public float and listing of Blue Freeway on the ASX.

Destra will expend the yielded funds to reinforce destra’s balance sheet and for purchasing profitable digital media businesses, Destra CEO, Domenic Carosa said.

Chairman Carl Olsen added, “Given that destra will also be a shareholder in BlueFreeway, it is the intention that BlueFreeway and destra Corp will enter into a strategic alliance for co-marketing and reciprocal provision of hosting and communication services, as well as online media services.”

Web hosting services provider, dotCanada.com, has concluded a partnership agreement with another web hosting company, Hostopia to supply an advanced set of services to its small- to medium-sized business clients.

Commerce Planet, publicly traded media company has acquired a colocation facility, Interaccurate, a developer for Commerce Planet's outsourced software needs.

The acquirement offers up an intellectual property tools to Commerce Planet to raise their operational efficiency.

According to the company, Interaccurate assisted with the creation of Commerce Planet's underlying technologies for www.MyOnlineChat.com, WebBuilder, DatIntel and other marketing and sales tools.

The acquisition deal was completed on October 3, 2006. In addition to acquiring software intellectual property, the company has also adopted ownership of the web hosting facility that presently executes Commerce Planet's online traffic.

Apollo Hosting, web hosting services provider revealed that it has collaborated with ScanAlert, an Internet security company to offer a PCI compliance validation service to its online web hosting clients.

The company said that its latest service will be offered without any cost for one year.

The Apollo Hosting coalition with ScanAlert will comprise solutions to PCI standard certification, including quarterly vulnerability scanning, a self assessment questionnaire and complete technical support.
